Cardiff Mardi Gras will be on 4th September this year.  Unfortunately it clashes with Reading Pride but if you can get to Cardiff, it's a fun day!    Cheesy

Cardiff Mardi Gras has been on the main site's events list for a month or so: http://pcsproud.org.uk/2010/03/31/cardiff-mardis-gras/ Smiley

Thanks for starting this thread.  thumbup

I've added a link to here from the main site's event page so people can come here to discuss it.

Unless otherwise stated the views expressed by me are not necessarily those of PCS Proud. In fact, they're very unlikely to be, though that would be because PCS Proud don't really have an official stance on mindless banter.

Cry  Sad Angry
Due to a technical hitch with the payment from head office we are no longer able to have a stall at this years Cardiff Pride.
What saddens us, is all the hard work and planning that has gone it to making the stall a huge success will now not happen, we are all gutted.
I would like to say a big thankyou to Dorothy in regional office as she has been working hard for us getting amterails and our photocopying done in time for the event your work will not go invain. Many thanks Dorothy.

Jan and I plus the other Proud members will still be able to continue with the work we were going to be doing at this years Cardiff Pride and we will be contacting the members in Wales to assist with the petition on marriage rights and with the Equality leaflets produced by Jan for this years stall.
Both Jan and I are not pleased with the situation but it is to late to do anything about it now as the pride event is this coming Saturday, Jan as the Proud Woman's Rep and me as the Country Rep for Wales will continue the work of promoting Proud as normal.  peace
My self and Jan would still like to see you all at Cardiff Pride, so come along and join in the fun and say hello if you see us wondering around the park.

I was going to wear my sister's fairy wings as they had pretty lights plus a powerpack that fitted in my pocket which meant that they lit up and flashed.... BUT they're 'not available' and - apparently - they make me look rather like Mavis Cruet - actually a refreshing change from being likened to Evil Edna (both from Willo the Wisp in case you didn't know).
Unkind - but as my sister said 'the truth often hurts..'   Cry
